Senior Internal Auditor – Odoo ERP & Operational Controls

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Internal Auditor with extensive experience in Odoo ERP to audit financial and operational processes across accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouses and branches. The role involves tracing transactions from source documents through Odoo modules to the general ledger, identifying control weaknesses and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk‑based reviews of financial and operational transactions in Odoo, tracing documents through all relevant modules to the general ledger.
• Audit the complete sales cycle, purchase cycle, inventory movements and cash‑bank processes, performing three‑way matching and variance analysis.
• Test user access rights, approval limits and segregation of duties; develop exception reports for continuous monitoring.
• Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets and inter‑company transactions for compliance with policies and UAE tax regulations.
• Prepare monthly and annual audit plans, maintain an audit tracker, and submit findings directly to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or a related field.
• 3–6 years of internal or external audit experience, preferably in trading, distribution, retail or manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP, including user‑access audits and approval workflows.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end business processes and accounting entries.
• Currently based in the UAE or willing to relocate to Dubai.

Required skills

• Odoo ERP (including Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, POS and Manufacturing modules).
• Approval workflow design and audit‑log analysis.
• Data analytics for internal audits.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data reconciliation).
