Senior Investor – European Infrastructure (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Our client, a leading global investment firm, is expanding its European infrastructure team. The senior investor will be based in Abu Dhabi and will drive the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing opportunities to managing the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and execution of direct infrastructure investments and fund commitments across Europe.
• Build and review complex financial models, valuations and investment cases to support decision‑making.
• Conduct commercial, financial and operational due diligence with external advisors and management teams.
• Prepare and present investment recommendations to senior leadership and the investment committee.
• Manage transaction execution, fund due diligence, negotiations and documentation through to completion.
• Develop relationships with sponsors, advisors, management teams and other market participants to originate new opportunities.

Required profile

• Significant transaction experience with a proven track record in European infrastructure investments.
• Exceptional analytical ability and strong grasp of valuation and accounting concepts.
• Confident communicator comfortable in a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
• Willingness to be based full‑time in Abu Dhabi.
