Senior IT Applications QA Engineer – Remote (Arabic)

About the role

The Senior IT Applications Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure the quality and reliability of complex IT applications across the organization. This remote position requires strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities, as well as deep expertise in QA methodologies and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement QA strategies aligned with industry‑standard methodologies.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and automated scripts for complex applications.
• Plan, execute, and manage QA activities from requirements analysis to release sign‑off.
• Collaborate with development, business analysts, project managers, and infrastructure teams to achieve comprehensive test coverage.
• Track, report, and resolve defects throughout the lifecycle.
• Continuously improve QA processes and identify automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, CSQA, CSTE, or Quality Engineer.
• Minimum 7 years of IT QA experience with a focus on automation testing.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead junior QA professionals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Required skills

• Automation tools and frameworks: Selenium, Appium, Cucumber.
• QA methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches.
• Experience with code review, performance testing, and security testing.
• Mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of IT risk management frameworks and IT governance best practices.
