Senior IT Pillar Specialist – S3D

About the role

The Senior IT Pillar Specialist – S3D will provide administration support for Hexagon S3D projects, handling setup, daily administration, and delivery of project deliverables. The role involves analyzing possible solutions, building knowledge of company processes and customers, and may include work with AVEVA Engineering and AVEVA Net/AIM.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and customize S3D catalogs for piping, equipment, electrical, instrumentation and structures.
• Create and customize isometric drawings, symbols, view styles and reports using COM, VB.Net or C#.
• Perform S3D system setup, including database restoration, permission groups, hierarchy, interference rules and naming conventions.
• Manage filters, surface style rules and generate review files for SPR and Navisworks.
• Troubleshoot designer issues, develop modelling best practices and support SQL/Oracle database administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5‑15 years of experience in Hexagon S3D administration.
• Strong understanding of engineering practices, project execution and communication skills.
• Familiarity with AVEVA 3D or other Smartplant tools.
