Senior Java Integration Developer (Spring Boot & Apache Camel)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Java Integration Developer to design and implement a cloud‑agnostic, event‑driven integration layer using Spring Boot (WebFlux) and Apache Camel. The role focuses on building resilient, stateful Saga workflows and scaling them in Kubernetes environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop low‑latency, non‑blocking REST APIs with Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux and Netty.
• Implement centralized Saga orchestration using Apache Camel DSL, including compensating actions for data consistency.
• Create content‑based routing logic (EIP) that evaluates JSON/XML responses at runtime.
• Manage state and concurrency with PostgreSQL, Redis Sentinel and idempotent consumer patterns.
• Build non‑blocking webhook handlers that correlate external notifications with ongoing transactions.
• Write multi‑stage Dockerfiles and Kubernetes manifests (Deployments, StatefulSets, ConfigMaps, Secrets) for Azure AKS, AWS EKS and on‑premises clusters.
• Integrate OpenTelemetry tracing and configure KEDA autoscaling based on RabbitMQ/Kafka queue depth.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of professional experience in software development.
• 4‑6+ years of hands‑on experience with Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux and Apache Camel.
• Strong background in distributed systems, Enterprise Integration Patterns and reactive architectures.
