Senior Lead Auditor - Certification

About the role

Bureau Veritas do Brasil is hiring a Senior Lead Auditor for its Certification Department in Abu Dhabi. The position reports to the Operations Lead and the Certification Manager and works closely with the Certification Manager, Technical Manager, Operations Lead, other auditors, sales and technical teams, customers and project management consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Perform external audits in line with ISO standards, including planning, conducting and executing the full certificate cycle
• Manage clients during and after audits, keeping expectations and expectations updated and providing regular progress updates
• Handle NCRs and manage report completion and submission to the technical centre for approval
• Manage technical queries and ensure reports meet technical requirements
• Conduct audits impartially, with no conflict of interest, following accreditation and HSE requirements
• Track, manage and communicate audit plans and schedules
• Complete regular technical and HSE training and take part in at least one IMS audit observation
• Work independently and proactively, with strong time management and customer focus

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience successfully planning, executing and completing audits for IMS/QHSE/BCMS for marine, oil and gas clients
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Preferred: qualified auditor for QHSE BCMS, EnMS and AMS; education in a bachelor's or master's degree

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO standards, ISO 17021, IAF and accreditation requirements
• Preferred: ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22301, 50001, 55001, ITSMS, ISMS, PIMS and ISO HLS
• Office 365 (Word, Excel) and planning/scheduling software
