Senior Leasing Manager

About the role

Al Futtaim Retail is seeking a Senior Leasing Manager to lead the retail leasing portfolio across the MENA region. The role combines financial, legal and strategic responsibilities to expand Al‑Futtaim’s retail presence while protecting the company’s financial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, negotiate and formalise all retail leasing transactions for the assigned portfolio, including sourcing prime locations and securing favourable commercial terms.
• Execute lease administration tasks such as contract reviews, legal reviews, payment processing and documentation tracking, ensuring all systems and tracking sheets are up‑to‑date.
• Build and maintain relationships with landlords and internal stakeholders, providing regular leasing reports and insights to senior management.
• Analyse portfolio performance, negotiate rent reductions, manage renewals and support feasibility studies for new store openings.
• Develop and enhance leasing policies and processes, coordinating with Store Development, legal and other business divisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail leasing or real‑estate management, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong negotiation, relationship‑management and analytical abilities.
• Proven track record of managing lease transactions and mitigating financial risk.
