Senior M&A & Private Equity Lawyer

About the role

Clifford Chance is seeking a senior corporate lawyer with 5‑7 years of post‑qualified experience in M&A and private equity to join its UAE office, based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The role offers the chance to work on high‑profile, cross‑border transactions for a diverse client base, supported by the firm’s global network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage public and private M&A and private equity transactions across the Middle East.
• Develop outstanding transactional, organisational and technical legal skills while delivering high‑quality advice.
• Collaborate closely with clients, senior partners and other practice groups to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Mentor junior associates and contribute to the development of the team.

Required profile

• Proven track record of acting or leading on M&A and private equity deals.
• Fluent English with prior experience at a top‑tier international law firm; Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
• First‑class legal ability, strong commercial approach, excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Outstanding academic record throughout legal education.
