About the role

Join ADCB’s Group Business Services team as a Senior Manager – AI Engineering, leading the creation of next‑generation AI platforms that power conversational experiences, enterprise knowledge solutions, and intelligent automation across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of AI platforms, including Conversational AI and enterprise knowledge solutions, ensuring technical consistency and regulatory compliance.
• Build reusable frameworks for digital and mobile channel integration, delivering secure, reliable, human‑like interactions at scale.
• Design and oversee intelligent automation for banking operations such as KYC, compliance, customer service, and risk monitoring, with robust human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Manage engineering and operationalisation of Generative AI, large language models, and embedding models, standardising deployment, monitoring, and scaling practices.
• Guide prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, and model evaluation to ensure performance, reliability, and responsible usage.
• Implement MLOps best practices – automated retraining, drift management, and guardrails for fairness, security, explainability, and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership for cloud‑based AI/ML pipelines on Azure and AWS, using serverless, cloud‑native, and containerised architectures.
• Apply Generative AI engineering principles, design patterns, and modular code development.

Required profile

• Ambitious professional with proven senior‑level experience in AI/ML engineering and delivery.
• Strong leadership skills to guide cross‑functional teams and ensure alignment with business and risk expectations.
