Senior Manager – AI Security Product Owner

About the role

The Senior Manager – AI Security Product Owner is responsible for defining, driving, and overseeing the strategy, design, and delivery of secure AI/ML products and platforms. The role ensures AI solutions are developed and deployed in alignment with cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and enterprise risk frameworks, while enabling innovation and business value.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the end‑to‑end product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for AI security solutions, embedding security‑by‑design and privacy‑by‑design principles.
• Establish and enforce AI security controls across model development, deployment, and monitoring, performing risk assessments for data privacy, bias, explainability, and compliance.
• Lead secure AI product delivery across cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments, integrating controls into MLOps/LLMOps pipelines and ensuring continuous validation.
• Act as the primary interface between product, engineering, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and external vendors, managing third‑party AI solution risk.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, GDPR, and internal policies, supporting audits and maintaining AI risk registers and governance reporting.
• Define monitoring frameworks, lead AI‑related incident response, and continuously improve security posture against emerging threats such as adversarial AI.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML security, product ownership or related domains.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML security governance, risk management, and the AI threat landscape.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps practices.
• Deep knowledge of GRC frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR and AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO 42001).
• Proven track record in agile product delivery, stakeholder management and integrating security into MLOps/LLMOps pipelines.
