Senior Manager - Bidding And Proposal

About the role

The Senior Manager – Bidding & Proposals leads the end‑to‑end bid and proposal process, ensuring timely, compliant and competitive submissions. Reporting to the Head of Opportunity & Proposals, the role coordinates cross‑functional teams to maximise win probability across international tenders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification through proposal submission and handover.
• Develop bid strategies, schedules and governance frameworks, securing internal approvals.
• Coordinate Business Development, Finance, Contracts, Procurement, PMO and Engineering to deliver winning proposals.
• Analyse RFPs and customer requirements to craft competitive, compliant bids.
• Lead bid reviews, risk management, pricing coordination and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in bid/proposal management, preferably within Aerospace & Defence.
• APMP or Shipley certification is an advantage.
