Senior Manager – Business Tax Services (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

KPMG US Tax Services (UAE) LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead its Business Tax Services practice in Abu Dhabi. You will advise EMEA‑based asset managers, funds and sovereign investors on the full spectrum of U.S. corporate tax matters, from compliance to strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage U.S. tax compliance and consulting projects for corporate, partnership and M&A engagements.
• Advise on tax‑efficient structuring of non‑U.S. investments into the U.S., including permanent establishment, withholding, FIRPTA and treaty applications.
• Review and comment on tax calculation models from a U.S. federal income tax perspective.
• Research, draft and review tax advice on domestic and international matters, including cross‑border transactions.
• Oversee international aspects of outsourced or co‑sourced compliance engagements and model cash tax leakage for investment structures.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of clients, acting as the primary point of contact and building strong relationships.
• Leverage generative AI technologies to enhance decision‑making and review processes.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years of hands‑on experience with U.S. tax compliance, corporate, partnership, M&A or international tax matters at a public accounting firm.
• Demonstrated expertise in international taxation for financial services clients.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex client engagements.
