Senior Manager – Controlling (Corporate Services, GBS)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Controlling will support the Head of Controlling at the Global Treasury Centre, driving treasury governance, transformation and AI initiatives across Al‑Futtaim Technologies. The role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, operational efficiency and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve Treasury governance frameworks, policies, SOPs, SLAs, DOAs and RACI matrices.
• Lead treasury transformation projects such as cash pooling, in‑house bank, trade‑finance digitisation and technology roll‑outs, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Establish AI governance for treasury, oversee stage‑gate processes and promote AI‑enabled reporting, analytics and decision‑support tools.
• Oversee preparation, review and analysis of Treasury reports, P&L, balance‑sheet positions and operating costs, providing actionable insights to management.
• Act as primary contact for internal and external audits, maintain a strong control environment and achieve zero repeat high‑risk findings.

Required profile

• CA, CFA, CPA or equivalent professional certification; treasury coursework (ACT) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing treasury operations and controls within a large organisation.
• Strong analytical background in banking, hedging, trade finance and treasury reporting.
