Senior Manager - Cyber Security Engineers

About the role

DeepLight AI is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Cyber Security Engineering squads embedded within a major banking client in the UAE. The role combines people leadership with end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise‑grade security solutions, ensuring the bank’s defensive posture meets the highest institutional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct cross‑functional security engineering squads, set performance targets and conduct career development reviews.
• Own the full technical execution lifecycle for cybersecurity projects, including sprint planning, milestone tracking and resource capacity management.
• Supervise deployment, configuration and integration of core security technologies such as IAM, network security, endpoint protection and cloud security controls.
• Ensure all engineering outputs align with the bank’s policies, risk appetite and selected cybersecurity frameworks.
• Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams, senior leadership, risk officers and external client stakeholders, reporting on project velocity and technical risks.
• Represent DeepLight by modelling senior‑level accountability, engineering discipline and professional delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security engineering teams in large, regulated environments such as banking.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex delivery programmes and stakeholder relationships.
