Senior Manager - Enterprise Applications AI and Automation

About the role

Al Ghurair Investment is accelerating the adoption of Generative AI, agentic automation and advanced analytics across its enterprise application landscape (ERP, Oracle, Salesforce, CRM and Power platforms). As Senior Manager, you will design, develop and deploy end-to-end automations using machine learning and AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, decision intelligence and user experience across Group business units (Foods, Real Estate, Automotive, Construction and others), working in an agile, iterative manner and closely with business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the AI / agentic automation roadmap for enterprise applications, aligned with the Group's digital transformation strategy, and partner with business and IT leadership to prioritize initiatives by ROI and strategic fit.
• Evaluate emerging AI/ML frameworks and tools (LLMs, RAG, vector databases, low-code AI orchestration) and set governance for responsible AI, model risk and data privacy.
• Integrate AI/automation solutions with D365, Oracle, Salesforce and other enterprise systems, and build agentic workflows, chatbots and automation pipelines.
• Develop and productionize ML/AI models (classification, forecasting, NLP, recommendation, RAG-based Q&A) using Python, XGBoost, MLflow, Databricks, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI and vector stores.
• Work with the Data CoE on dashboards and analytics such as Power BI, and manage end-to-end project delivery, including CRP, SIT, UAT and post-go-live support.
• Mentor data scientists, AI engineers and citizen developers, manage vendor and consultant relationships, and act as an internal evangelist for AI through training and workshops.
• Own the roadmap for internally built products, establish reusable frameworks and accelerators, and track and report KPIs and business impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• 6-8+ years of progressive experience in data science, AI/ML engineering or enterprise automation, including at least 2-3 years on generative AI / agentic AI in production.
• Proven track record of designing, developing and deploying ML/AI solutions across business domains, and experience in a matrixed, multi-business-unit organization.
• Preferred: certifications in AI/ML, cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) or enterprise automation platforms (Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath).

Required skills

• Programming: Python, PySpark, SQL, R.
• Machine learning and deep learning: XGBoost, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems.
• Generative AI: prompt engineering, RAG, LLM orchestration (LangChain, Semantic Kernel or similar).
• MLOps: MLflow, Databricks, model monitoring and retraining pipelines.
• Cloud: Azure preferred, AWS or GCP; familiarity with Power Automate, UiPath or similar.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
