Senior Manager - Governance And Regulatory Implementation

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious senior professional to join the Governance, Policy and Control team of the Corporate, Wealth & Investment Banking Group (CWIBG) at ADCB. The role will lead the end‑to‑end governance and regulatory implementation process across all CWIBG business segments, ensuring that regulatory requirements are interpreted, applied and monitored effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement with stakeholders across CWIBG and supporting functions to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate regulatory change management, gap assessments and implementation oversight.
• Provide guidance on regulatory expectations, drive accountability and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
• Manage the Governance & Regulatory Implementation team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Offer first‑line oversight of regulatory and compliance risks, identifying, assessing and managing obligations.
• Lead assurance activities, reviews and assessments to evaluate adherence to regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in governance, regulatory implementation or compliance within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills across multiple business units.
• Ability to provide independent challenge, oversight and strategic guidance on regulatory matters.
• Leadership experience, capable of managing a team and driving a culture of accountability.
