Senior Manager – Investment AI Platform (Market Specialist)

About the role

Inception42, part of the G42 ecosystem, is seeking a Senior Manager to act as the resident investment practitioner for the (in)Alpha product team. You will translate private‑equity, credit and sovereign‑wealth investment processes into concrete product requirements and ensure analytical quality across the AI‑driven platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define module behavior for screening, diligence, data‑room handling, committee materials and portfolio monitoring.
• Author reference artefacts such as investment memos, diligence question sets, scoring frameworks and benchmarking conventions.
• Work with product and engineering to refine backlog, resolve scope questions and test features against fund governance and regulated processes.
• Review AI‑generated outputs for analytical soundness, uncertainty treatment and source evidence.
• Set quality standards, citation and traceability rules, and drive resolution of incorrect outputs.
• Lead product demonstrations and discovery sessions with institutional investors and sovereign‑wealth funds.
• Support client deployments by advising on template configuration, taxonomies and decision criteria.
• Maintain a practitioner view of GCC market requirements and competitive landscape.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in private equity, private credit, growth equity or sovereign‑wealth investment, with end‑to‑end transaction ownership.
• Proven ability to prepare and defend investment committee materials, including valuation, LBO analysis and diligence workstreams.
• Strong investment judgment, analytical scepticism and ability to distinguish decision‑relevant evidence.
• Excellent communication skills to convey investment reasoning to engineers, AI teams and senior client executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering or equivalent practical experience.
