Senior Manager, Legal – MEA & Turkey

About the role

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior Manager, Legal for the Middle East, Africa and Turkey region, based in Dubai. The role provides senior legal support to DePuy Synthes operations across the MEA region and Turkey, ensuring commercial activities are compliant and strategically aligned.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal support for distributor and indirect market operations, advising on structuring, appointment, management and termination of distributor relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements related to distribution, agency, channel partners, sales, supply, marketing and service arrangements.
• Enable business growth in distributor markets by managing legal risk in new channel models and developing scalable legal solutions.
• Manage disputes and performance issues with distributors and channel partners, including escalation, enforcement of contractual rights and coordination with external counsel.
• Offer legal guidance to business leaders across MEA and Turkey to ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
• Oversee legal risk assessment, mitigation strategies and compliance initiatives across assigned markets.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, partnering with commercial, finance, compliance and other functions.
• Liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies to manage legal matters and outside‑counsel activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience providing legal support for distributor and indirect market operations in multiple jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Experience managing disputes, contractual enforcement and coordination with external counsel.
• Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and corporate policies in the MEA region and Turkey.
