Senior Manager - Policy

About the role

The Senior Manager – Policy will support the Director – Policy in delivering the FSRA’s regulatory agenda within the Abu Dhabi Global Market. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will lead the development, consultation and implementation of policy initiatives that align with international standards and the evolving financial services landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement policy initiatives to enhance the FSRA regulatory framework in line with bodies such as IAIS, BCBS, IOSCO and FATF.
• Manage policy proposals from initiation through planning, benchmarking, development and approval for publication.
• Lead consultation processes, analyse feedback on discussion papers and drive legislative changes.
• Prepare Board papers and coordinate with internal ADGM units including Legal Affairs, Governance and Compliance.
• Provide advisory support to other FSRA divisions and review policy materials across the organization.
• Oversee complex policy projects, managing internal staff and external resources.
• Contribute to legislative drafting for existing and new FSRA regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in policy development, regulatory affairs or related financial services roles.
• Strong understanding of international regulatory standards and the UAE financial ecosystem.
• Proven ability to manage large, multi‑stakeholder projects and deliver high‑quality outputs.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
