Senior Manager - Strategic Initiatives

About the role

Join the Retail Banking Group at ADCB as a Senior Manager driving strategic initiatives across Retail and Business Banking. You will shape the portfolio of transformation projects, ensure governance, and deliver measurable outcomes that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the strategic initiatives portfolio, aligning with business priorities and transformation objectives.
• Establish governance frameworks, prioritisation criteria, performance tracking and executive reporting for initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional transformation programmes, coordinating business, operations, digital, technology, risk and compliance stakeholders.
• Partner with senior executives and governance forums to shape priorities, provide insights and secure sponsorship.
• Identify and implement improvements to customer journeys, frontline productivity and operational efficiency.
• Manage change strategies, communication and adoption planning to ensure sustainable implementation.
• Lead and develop the team in line with ADCB’s people management policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in banking, financial services, transformation, strategic initiatives or consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in retail banking strategy, strategic planning, programme and project management, and senior stakeholder management.
• Strong background in change management, data analysis, benefits tracking and performance insight.
