Senior Manager, Supply Chain

About the role

Masdar is seeking a Senior Manager to lead procurement and logistics for solar PV, wind and BESS projects. The role ensures efficient sourcing, supplier management and material delivery in line with project schedules, technical requirements and ESG goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement for solar packages, including RFP/RFQ preparation, bid evaluation, negotiations, contract drafting and purchase order administration.
• Manage supply, O&M and long‑term service agreements to support project timelines and mitigate risks.
• Oversee logistics optimisation – transportation routes, warehousing and shipments – for cost‑effective delivery.
• Coordinate third‑party quality services, conduct factory and OEM qualification programmes, and perform audits for PV, wind and BESS components.
• Monitor supplier performance, address non‑conformances and maintain qualification documentation for audit readiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of procurement and supply‑chain experience, with at least 3 years in utility‑scale renewable‑energy projects.
• Proven track record managing end‑to‑end sourcing, contract negotiation and execution for solar‑PV, wind and BESS equipment.
• Experience leading RFQ/RFP processes, preparing Supply and O&M agreements and working closely with legal, technical and project teams.
