Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Aircraft Assembly)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead and optimise end‑to‑end aircraft assembly, systems installation and testing processes. The role works closely with Design, Quality, Supply Chain and Production teams to ensure manufacturability while meeting schedule, cost and quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Design, Quality, Supply Chain and Production teams.
• Define, design and implement production lines for aircraft assembly and systems installation.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions and procedures.
• Review component designs and assembly operations for manufacturability, tooling and process capability.
• Perform capacity planning and support manufacturing strategy development for new and existing programmes.
• Support commercial and quotation activities with engineering input as required.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure processes comply with quality, regulatory and customer requirements.
