About the role
KBR Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Mechanical Construction Engineer to lead fabrication yard activities for an offshore project. The position will be based in Abu Dhabi (or Dubai office) and supports an offshore PMC project within the oil and gas sector. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality fabrication and pre‑commissioning work.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise fabrication yard activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture within the fabrication yard.
- Monitor fabrication progress and ensure alignment with project schedules and milestones.
- Support project execution by ensuring timely completion of fabrication, assembly, and pre‑commissioning activities.
Required profile
- Engineering degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of proven experience in mechanical construction within the oil and gas industry.
