Senior Mechanical Engineer Static Rotating Offshore

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specialized in static and rotating equipment for offshore projects in the UAE. The role involves leading engineering activities, overseeing construction and fabrication, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering tasks related to static and rotating equipment.
• Manage construction and fabrication activities for offshore installations.
• Ensure design and execution comply with API, ASME and other relevant standards.
• Coordinate with project teams throughout EPC phases, commissioning and start‑up.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of overall experience, with at least 6 years on major oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
• Proven expertise in EPC project lifecycles and offshore construction.
• Hands‑on experience in commissioning, operation and start‑up of offshore facilities.
• Prior involvement in ARAMCO projects is considered a strong advantage.
