Senior MEP Estimator

About the role

The Senior Estimator – MEP will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in fit‑out projects. The role involves analysing project specifications, reviewing drawings, obtaining supplier quotations and ensuring estimates align with project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse project specifications, drawings and tender documents to determine MEP requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials, equipment and labour.
• Negotiate pricing to achieve cost‑effective and competitive estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and project teams to review and adjust estimates.
• Maintain organised records of estimates, quotations and pricing documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of bid submissions, tender documents and commercial proposals.
• Provide estimation and cost support during procurement and project execution phases.
• Identify potential cost risks and opportunities for value engineering.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards and project requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEP cost estimation for fit‑out projects.
• Strong ability to analyse drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Effective negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Excellent collaboration with project managers and engineering teams.
