Senior MEP Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Site Engineer to join our team. The role involves managing and overseeing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of projects from design through execution, ensuring quality, compliance and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of MEP systems on‑site.
• Review and coordinate MEP design drawings, shop drawings and material submittals.
• Ensure all MEP works are executed in accordance with project specifications, codes and standards.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and clients to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality control of MEP installations.
• Supervise and guide MEP teams, subcontractors and site staff.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical specifications and supplier proposals.
• Prepare and submit reports, progress updates and documentation as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of MEP engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role in the UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of MEP codes and standards, preferably UAE/local authority regulations.
• Excellent leadership, coordination and communication skills.
• Experience on large‑scale commercial or residential projects is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Plant 3D.
• Ability to use clash detection software such as Navisworks.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
