Senior MEP Technical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineer – MEP to lead the full technical and engineering lifecycle for high‑rise, mixed‑use and large‑scale building projects in the UAE. The role covers design review, coordination, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover, requiring strong leadership and deep construction knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all MEP technical activities, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm and ELV systems.
• Oversee design reviews, technical submissions, shop drawings, material submissions, RFIs and method statements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across MEP, Civil, Structural, Architectural and specialist systems.
• Manage procurement, technical evaluation of materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards and UAE authority requirements.
• Support value‑engineering initiatives and review variations for cost‑saving solutions.
• Monitor installation activities, testing, commissioning, authority inspections and final handover.
• Mentor and manage Technical Engineers, Design Coordinators, MEP Engineers and BIM teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of MEP engineering and construction experience, preferably with a Tier‑1 contractor.
• Proven track record delivering high‑rise, luxury residential, hotel, commercial or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations, FIDIC contracts and construction contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
