Senior Network Engineer - CCIE Certified

About the role

The Senior Network Engineer will support and maintain Al Rostamani Group's enterprise network and its customer base. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining IP network services, including core routers, switches, servers, and related applications. The engineer will also handle network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain enterprise‑level network hardware and applications.
• Plan, configure and implement data and WiFi infrastructure in coordination with customers, service providers and partners.
• Install and configure firewalls and provide post‑sales support.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for technical support issues and assist technical managers with new product and tool evaluation.
• Submit weekly operational and project reports, highlighting escalations and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Troubleshoot complex multi‑vendor network issues and provide timely solutions.
• Prepare and validate LLD, HLD and other project documentation.

Required profile

• Graduate or Diploma in Electronics, Telecom, IT or Computer Science.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise network implementation and support.
• CCIE or HCIE certification.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of Cisco routing, switching and Wi‑Fi solutions (plus HP, Huawei, Cambium as added advantage).
• Proficiency with firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint) and network security concepts.
• Experience with SDN solutions and network management software.
• Strong understanding of IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6), subnetting, routing protocols and network lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with protocols such as TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP, NetFlow/SFlow and authentication services (LDAP, DNS, RADIUS, TACACS+).
