Senior Occupational Therapist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services to adult patients across inpatient, outpatient and post‑operative settings, aiming to maximise independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ functional, physical and cognitive abilities.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans for adult patients in various care settings.
• Provide evidence‑based interventions to improve mobility, activities of daily living and overall function.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other therapists to ensure coordinated multidisciplinary care.
• Assist with discharge planning and guide patients on home‑based care and follow‑up rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress, treatment goals and outcomes in line with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Mentor junior therapists and students, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

Required profile

• Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Significant hospital‑based experience with adult patients, including inpatient, outpatient and post‑operative rehabilitation.
• Strong patient‑care and communication skills.
• Currently residing in the UAE.
