Senior Officer BHS Contracts

About the role

The Senior Officer BHS Contracts oversees technical vendor performance, system availability and baggage delivery timelines for the Baggage Handling System (BHS) at the airport. The role ensures efficient planning, resource management and continuity of baggage operations across arrivals and departures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead BHS Operations & Maintenance Supervisors and Control Room Operators to meet departmental objectives.
• Provide accurate BHS performance data to stakeholders and report non‑conformities.
• Monitor compliance with ADAC policies, GCAA regulations and IATA procedures.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance, manage incidents and IROPS, and implement contingency procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly and breakdown reports, and ensure HSE compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum 5 years experience in baggage system operations and ramp operations.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, SLA/KPI monitoring and commercial documentation.
