Senior Officer - Compliance & Assurance Outsource

About the role

The Senior Officer – Compliance & Assurance supports the Head of the Cyber Defense Center within ADIB’s Group Information Security Department. The role focuses on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) monitoring, incident validation and governance to protect the bank’s information assets and meet regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and investigate DLP alerts across all data transfer channels to detect potential leakage or policy violations.
• Perform L2 validation of incidents flagged by L1 analysts, ensuring accurate classification, risk assessment and evidence collection.
• Review and validate false‑positives and permitted activities, guaranteeing that material events are fully investigated.
• Correlate historical DLP events to identify recurring patterns or linked incidents.
• Escalate confirmed true‑positive incidents to relevant stakeholders, including Security Incident Response, Privacy, Legal and Fraud Investigation teams.
• Coordinate investigation, containment, remediation and closure activities with IT, business units and other internal partners.
• Maintain DLP dashboards, reporting and documentation in line with ADIB policies, privacy requirements and regulatory obligations.

Required profile

• Experience in information security, preferably within a cyber‑defense or DLP environment.
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations and privacy standards.
• Ability to work independently, analyse complex data flows and communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
