Senior Officer – Field Operations

About the role

The Senior Officer – Field Operations is responsible for the end‑to‑end management of property and mortgage registration, disbursal, and asset product operations within the bank’s retail division. The role ensures maximum efficiency, security and control while safeguarding the bank’s financial interests and delivering quality service to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑ and post‑disbursal activities, including registration of properties and handling mortgage‑related documents.
• Prepare and issue developer, bank and land‑department letters, and manage vendor payments.
• Release property mortgages and reconcile lien security documents for closed loans.
• Maintain safe custody of security documents under dual‑control and ensure audit‑ready processes.
• Deliver efficient, quality service to internal and external customers and address complaints promptly.
• Provide operational insights to the Team Leader and contribute to business requirement documents for process improvements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated accountability for disbursal, maintenance and lien perfection functions within a retail banking environment.
• Strong focus on efficiency, security, control and compliance with established procedures and audit standards.
• Ability to learn and apply function‑specific processes, and to communicate material operational weaknesses to supervisors.
• Willingness to develop skills for higher responsibilities and to work closely with the Asset Operations team.
