Senior Officer, Fraud Awareness & Training

About the role

The Senior Officer – OFM Training, Awareness & Capability Building is responsible for driving fraud awareness, education and capability building across the bank. The role supports the implementation of OFM frameworks and aims to instil a culture of vigilance to protect the organization, its employees, customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Follow departmental policies, processes and SOPs to ensure controlled and consistent work.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for system and process enhancements.
• Assist in preparing accurate statements and reports to meet department requirements.
• Support operational risk advisory and investigators to identify fraud trends and develop relevant awareness content.
• Lead the creation and delivery of fraud awareness communications, newsletters and the annual fraud awareness plan.
• Coordinate internal and external fraud training sessions and support International Fraud Awareness Week campaigns.
• Recommend innovative communication channels to reach target audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector.
• Working knowledge of bank products, channels, services and operational risk.
• Strong administrative abilities with the capacity to multitask.
• Experience in crafting and delivering communications and training material.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
