Senior Officer / Manager - T24 Administration

About the role

A client is looking for an experienced Temenos T24 administrator to join its Core Banking Support team in Fujairah, UAE. The role covers hands-on administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of Temenos core banking applications across Production, UAT, Staging, Development and Disaster Recovery environments. It is a full-time, on-site position on a 1-year contract.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and maintain Temenos Transact (T24) across all environments, perform health checks, batch monitoring and coordinate backups, data restoration and archiving.
• Investigate and resolve application and integration failures, provide technical guidance during incidents and coordinate with internal teams and the Temenos vendor.
• Configure and maintain IBM WebSphere Liberty, JBoss, TOCFEE, MQ, MDB and IRIS components, and monitor JVM usage, logs, connection pools and MQ queues.
• Work with DBAs on Oracle configuration and performance tuning, and support AIX 7.2 and GPFS file systems in clustered setups.
• Manage releases, patches and configuration changes, and support EOD processing, batch jobs and interface monitoring.
• Handle user access and permissions, coordinate with vendors and support teams, and maintain runbooks, SOPs and audit documentation.

Required profile

• 8-10 years of experience in core banking application administration, preferably with Temenos T24/Transact.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in a live banking production environment.
• Strong understanding of banking application architecture, middleware, database connectivity, integration flows and batch processing.
