Senior Offshore Structure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join Technip Energies in Abu Dhabi, reporting directly to the Head of Department. The position focuses on leading the design, analysis, and modification of offshore platforms and related structures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (mandatory); Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of offshore structural engineering experience, including new platform design and modification.
• Proven ability to lead technical tasks and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and client specifications (ADNOC, ARAMCO, QP/QG).

Required skills

• Design of fixed offshore structures (jackets, topsides, driven & drilled piles) and floating structures (FPSO modules).
• Structural analysis using SACS, USFOS, ANSYS or ABAQUS for fatigue, pushover, load‑out, transportation, and accidental scenarios.
• Knowledge of international codes such as API RP 2A, API RP 2EQ, ISO 19902, DNVGL‑RP‑C203 and AISC.
• Experience with secondary structure design, including pipe supports, monorails, access platforms, and riser clamps.
