Senior Operator – Logging Services

About the role

The Senior Operator – Logging Services is responsible for preparing, operating and maintaining electric wire‑line logging equipment to meet customer expectations safely, on time and efficiently. The role involves rigging operations, tool deployment, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders in oil‑field environments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and verify all equipment, tools and logging strings required for electric wire‑line (E‑Logging) services.
• Execute rig‑up and rig‑down, run in‑hole and pull‑out operations, and manage draw‑work procedures.
• Operate winch systems and control panels, monitor measurements and ensure accurate tool deployment.
• Conduct testing, calibration and routine checks of logging tools.
• Participate in training for radio communications, explosive handling for well perforations, and safe transport and storage of equipment.
• Maintain compliance with HSE policies, emergency response duties and housekeeping standards.
• Prepare progress reports and KPI checklists for management.
• Coordinate with line managers, peers, consultants, third‑party service providers and government agencies as required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Logging Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum six (6) years of hands‑on experience in wire‑line (E‑Logging) operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work in A/C‑controlled environments and occasional field sites with heat, humidity and dust.
• Willingness to provide on‑the‑job training in line with UAE nationalisation programmes.
