Senior Pain Medicine Specialist – Private Healthcare

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Pain Medicine Specialist to join our private healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and multidisciplinary management of acute, chronic and complex pain conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized, evidence‑based pain management plans.
• Perform interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural and facet joint injections, and radiofrequency ablations.
• Utilise diagnostic imaging and investigations to guide clinical decisions.
• Manage medication therapy, monitor effectiveness and adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, psychologists, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons and other specialists to create multimodal treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options and self‑management strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, research activities and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS, MBChB or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Specialist training in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology or a related field.
• Post‑graduate qualification in the relevant specialty.
• Proven experience in pain medicine, including interventional procedures.
