Senior Piping Construction Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Piping Construction Manager will lead all piping construction activities for large‑scale oil & gas projects, ensuring safe execution, quality compliance and schedule adherence. This senior position requires extensive experience in fabrication, installation, testing and handover of process piping systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction execution plans, work packs and installation methodologies from fabrication through mechanical completion.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary construction activities with mechanical, structural, civil, electrical and instrumentation teams.
• Monitor progress, manage recovery plans, and produce weekly/monthly construction reports.
• Lead HSSE initiatives, toolbox talks, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Oversee QA/QC inspections, welding verification, NDT, hydro‑ and pneumatic testing, and punch‑list closure.
• Manage construction supervisors, foremen, subcontractors and field engineers, optimizing manpower and equipment utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 20+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry, including at least 10 years as a Piping Construction Manager.
• Proven track record delivering large, multicultural construction projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making and communication skills.
