Senior Planning Engineer - EPC Projects

About the role

A leading EPC contractor in Dubai is looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer with a strong background in EPC projects. The role suits a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who can develop, monitor and update project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update project schedules using Primavera P6
• Prepare baseline programmes, recovery plans and project cash flow forecasts
• Track project progress and identify schedule risks and mitigation measures
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement and construction teams to achieve milestones
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients
• Carry out delay analysis, critical path analysis and earned value reporting
• Support tender planning, resource loading and manpower forecasting
• Ensure compliance with contractual planning requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 8-15 years of planning experience with EPC contractors
• Experience in industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas, energy or large-scale building EPC projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• UAE or GCC experience highly preferred

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 (mandatory)
• Excellent knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning and project controls
