Senior Planning Engineer – MEP

About the role

The Planning Engineer – MEP will plan, schedule and monitor mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for construction projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules in Primavera P6 covering MEP installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and construction teams to ensure accurate activity sequencing and resource availability.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, prepare weekly/monthly status reports and implement corrective actions.
• Support cost control, budget monitoring and risk management for MEP activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of planning and scheduling experience on MEP systems in large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire‑fighting systems.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 (certification required).
• Microsoft Project.
• Project scheduling, resource allocation and progress monitoring.
• Cost control and budget management.
• Risk analysis and mitigation.
