Senior Planning Engineer – Onshore Brownfield Project

About the role

Wood is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to support a major onshore brownfield project in Dubai. The role focuses on creating, reviewing and reporting accurate project schedules and plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera.
• Perform resource loading, levelling and earned‑value analysis.
• Analyse cost and schedule variances and produce regular project reports.
• Manage WBS/CBS structures, change control and risk analysis.
• Support FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of planning engineering experience on large‑scale construction projects.
• Proven experience with onshore brownfield or similar industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, CPM logic and scheduling best practices.
