Senior Planning Engineer (PMC)

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer (PMC) will develop, monitor and control integrated project schedules for ADNOC Offshore projects, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and contractual milestones. The position is based at the client office in Abu Dhabi with possible offshore rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3/4 schedules in Primavera P6 for engineering, procurement, construction, hook‑up and commissioning.
• Monitor progress against baselines, perform critical‑path analysis, what‑if scenarios and recovery planning.
• Evaluate EPC contractor schedules and provide recommendations to ADNOC Offshore.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards and look‑ahead schedules.
• Assess schedule impact of variations, claims and change orders, supporting delay analysis and EOT evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of planning experience in oil & gas, with at least 5 years in a PMC role supporting ADNOC Offshore or similar operators.
• Strong experience in offshore brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Experience with progress measurement systems and schedule risk analysis.
• Ability to evaluate EPC contractor schedules and conduct critical‑path analysis.
