Senior Planning Manager – Site

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Planning Manager – Site to lead the planning function for large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role involves overseeing project schedules, resource allocation, risk mitigation and site logistics to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules aligned with overall project goals.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to optimise resource allocation and workflow efficiency.
• Analyse project risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Implement and manage project control systems to monitor progress, costs and quality.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of planning professionals.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and consultants to resolve planning‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards and safety requirements.
• Utilise advanced planning tools to optimise site logistics and workflow.
• Conduct regular site visits to identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in site planning or construction management with a proven track record.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry regulations, risk management, budgeting and cost control.
• Demonstrated expertise in site logistics and workflow optimisation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Advanced Excel for resource allocation and optimisation.
