Senior Platform Engineer (AWS Focus)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and evolve a reusable AWS‑centric cloud and hybrid‑cloud platform for a large FinTech enterprise. The role focuses on delivering secure, cloud‑native AI services that enable AI teams to build and operate applications without recreating infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable AWS AI platform services as products, including landing‑zone environments and tenancy patterns.
• Deploy, scale, and manage AI/ML services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Rekognition, Textract, and Lookout.
• Standardize deployments with Terraform, creating versioned modules, APIs and SDKs.
• Engineer runtime patterns using EKS, Lambda, containers, EventBridge, queues, streams and workflow services.
• Implement least‑privilege IAM, secrets management, encryption and private VPC connectivity, automating security controls in pipelines.
• Manage API lifecycles with AWS API Gateway and Kong, ensuring secure, high‑performance communication.
• Drive FinOps initiatives, monitor cloud spend and set up advanced alerting.
• Build automated GitHub workflows for CI/CD of infrastructure and application code, providing self‑service onboarding and documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in the AWS ecosystem.
• Deep expertise with Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Proven ability to design production‑ready cloud architectures and create detailed solution diagrams.

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
