Senior PMC Piping Construction Engineer – Habshan

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Senior Piping Construction Engineer to oversee on‑site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards for a high‑profile client.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise EPC contractor construction activities for the piping discipline, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and IFC deliverables.
• Champion ADNOC’s “Zero Incident” safety culture, enforce HSE policies, participate in safety audits and intervene on unsafe acts.
• Ensure construction works meet ADNOC standards, project specifications, and international codes; review inspections, tests, and manage NCRs.
• Act as primary PMC interface with EPC contractors, review progress reports, challenge inefficiencies and support commercial teams on variations and claims.
• Track construction progress against baseline schedules, identify critical path issues and coordinate recovery plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning and operations teams to resolve technical queries and manage interfaces between disciplines.
• Support pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities, verify mechanical completion and readiness for startup.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas projects.
• At least 3+ years in a similar senior PMC piping construction role.
• 5+ years in a PMC role on ADNOC or comparable Middle East projects.
• Strong experience in large‑scale EPC/EPCM projects (CAPEX > USD 500M).
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards, specifications and work practices.
• Qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
