This senior Director‑level Private Banker role will lead the expansion of the UAE franchise, shaping market strategy and building deep relationships with entrepreneurs, family offices, UHNW individuals and institutional influencers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as senior ambassador for Barclays Private Bank across the Middle East, strengthening the firm’s presence and reputation.
• Leverage professional network to generate new client opportunities and strategic referral partnerships.
• Support growth of the UAE franchise through market insight, client acquisition and collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the development of the Private Banking team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Director‑level Private Banker or equivalent, managing a substantial HNW/UHNW portfolio with sustained growth.
• Strong network and experience across the Middle East wealth management market, including clients, intermediaries, family offices and advisers.
• Track record of acquiring and developing UHNW client relationships and generating significant net new assets.
• Deep understanding of cultural, regulatory and commercial dynamics of the Middle East private wealth landscape.

Required skills

• Experience managing client relationships, assets, revenues and risk within regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to assess client strategies, identify opportunities and deliver long‑term commercial reward.
• Knowledge of operational, reputational, financial crime and credit risk management.
