Senior Process Engineer – Engineering Services Team

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer will lead and coordinate the activities of the Process Engineering discipline within ADNOC's Engineering Services Team. The role provides technical advice to operations, ensures the integrity of technical studies, and supports the achievement of ISO certification for the process function.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare progress and performance analysis reports, highlight problem areas and recommend corrective actions.
• Review engineering deliverables from EPC contractors for compliance with process and control standards.
• Provide on‑site process engineering consultation during construction, pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases.
• Act as Technical Authority for process discipline, mediate technical disputes and develop key process documents (philosophies, policies, design basis).
• Support, develop and review process engineering standards, codes of practice and technical specifications to align with legislation and best practice.
• Ensure process engineering representation in HSE‑driven studies and workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
