Senior Process Executive - MDM

About the role

This role manages the accurate and timely creation, maintenance and inactivation of master data in Oracle EBS, ensuring requests meet approved business requirements, validation standards and governance controls. It also supports business units with query resolution and leads data standardization and cleansing exercises across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update and inactivate records in Oracle EBS within agreed service levels, validating accuracy, completeness, supporting documents, approvals and duplicates before processing.
• Apply approved naming conventions, mandatory fields, business rules, maker-checker controls, segregation of duties and access restrictions; maintain audit trails and protect sensitive information.
• Resolve master data queries, investigate root causes and coordinate with business stakeholders and IT, giving guidance on request requirements, processes and status.
• Lead data standardization and cleansing exercises, correcting duplicate, incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent or obsolete records, and coordinate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, BUs and the Data Governance team.
• Conduct periodic quality reviews, recommend preventive actions and monitor request volumes, ageing, turnaround times, recurring errors and cleansing progress.
• Maintain SOPs and validation checklists, train BU users and support data migration, reconciliation, system testing and ERP improvement initiatives.
• Support master data projects through stakeholder discussions, requirements gathering and coordination with BUs and IT.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Typically 6-8 years of relevant experience in master data management or operations, preferably in an FMCG, food manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience managing master data across multiple business functions and in a multi-BU or multi-country environment is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience creating and maintaining master data in Oracle EBS.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating or leading data standardization and cleansing exercises.
• Working knowledge of data governance principles, data quality controls, documentation requirements and approval workflows.
• An Oracle EBS, MDM, Data Governance or Data Quality certification is an advantage.
