About the role
KBR Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Procurement & Expeditor Engineer for an offshore PMC project, based in the EPC contractor’s office in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on managing procurement processes, expediting deliveries and supporting project execution while ensuring compliance with contractual and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to contractors to identify and mitigate potential procurement and delivery delays.
- Analyze procurement workflows and recommend process optimizations to improve efficiency and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, contractual obligations, and quality standards throughout the procurement cycle.
- Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and critical path issues, and implement corrective actions.
Required profile
- Engineering degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of proven experience in procurement and expediting within oil & gas or related industries, including exposure to offshore projects.
