Senior Product Designer

About the role

Geotab is looking for a Senior Product Designer to own the look, feel, and functionality of its Video Platform, including AI dashcam and video intelligence software. You will lead design initiatives from concept to delivery, collaborating with product, engineering, research, and senior leadership in a fast‑paced, data‑rich environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive design initiatives across cross‑functional teams, shaping the product design vision and creating complex, data‑heavy interfaces such as live video review and fleet dashboards.
• Champion and evolve the company’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
• Conduct user research, testing, and analysis to inform user‑centered design solutions.
• Mentor junior designers, share knowledge, and contribute to building a high‑functioning design culture.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure successful implementation of design concepts.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of product design experience delivering shipped software, preferably in B2B, SaaS, telematics, or video domains.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end ownership of design work and real‑world impact.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience, with a preference for technical specializations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and self‑starter attitude in a high‑intensity environment.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency with Figma for UI design and prototyping.
• Deep knowledge of responsive web application patterns and modern design systems.
• Experience creating interaction patterns and high‑fidelity prototypes.
• Ability to translate complex data into intuitive visual experiences.
• Strong UX judgment grounded in research and usability testing.
